Posted on August 23, 2015October 17, 2015 by janene1 Moby Goes to the Oregon Coast July 2014 The Octopus Tree near Cape Meares lighthouse is thought to be an Indian ceremonial tree trained to grow in this shape and is probably over 250 years old. Moby found a friend! These patches of weird red light filtered through the forest at sunset. There is no filter or colorization used on this photo. Eat here in Port Orford. Yum!!! I missed the picture of your muscular little mascot? Did he make the trip?
Sadly, we left Doug behind. His joints have become very loose and he won’t hold a pose. Poor guy, but we all get old eventually.
